Prayers During Hajj

Allah the most magnificent and glorious, orders the Muslims to pray to Him. He promises to answer their prayers. Holy Quran emphasize the importance and significance of praying in Islam. Dua is said to be the crux of worship. It is the focal  point of Ibadat. Prayer protects the Muslims against the satin and consolidates  them in times of hardship.

Dua helps Muslims in becoming peaceful in life. It comforts their hearts and relieves them from tension and anxiety. Praying in front of Allah is the habit of believers. It shelters them from times of trouble, helplessness and powerlessness. Unfortunately the most destitute are those people who do not pray to Allah in times of devastation. The Duas during Hajj are more probable to be answered than any other prayer.

Therefore we are providing Duas that should be performed during Hajj:

The Dua that was made by Holy Prophet (PBUH) during the revolution (Tawaaf) of Kaaba is mentioned below:

“Rabbanaa aatinaa fid-dunyaa hasanah wa fil-aakhirati hasanah, wa qinaa ‘athaab an-naar.” [Abu Daawood]

Dua made by Holy Prophet (PBUH) on mounts of Safa and Marwah:

“Laa illaah illa Allah, Allahu Akbar,’ then he recited: ‘Laa ilaaha illa Allah wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulk wa lahul-hamd, wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer, laa ilaaha illaa Allah wahdahu, anjaza wa‘dahu, wa nasara ‘abdahu, wa hazam al-ahzaba wahdah.’”[Muslim]

Dua made by Holy Prophet (PBUH)  on the day of Arafah:

‘Laa ilaaha illa Allah wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahul-mulk wa lahul-hamd wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer.’” [At-Tirmithii]

Dua made by Holy Prophet at Muzdalifah:

On reaching Muzdalifah, Holy Prophet (PBUH) stood in front of Kaaba and recited his Dua glorifying Allah The Most Glorious confirming the Oneness of Allah and Praising Him. He stood there until the daylight was evident.

Duas made by Holy Prophet (PBUH) during the days of Tashreeq, Sughra Jamrah and Wusta Jamrah:

The days of Tashreeq are the eleventh, twelfth and thirteenth of Zul Hajj. Holy Prophet (PBUH) used to stand in front of Kabaa and said his prayers for long time. He said his prayers after stoning the satin.
